About this object

A white linen appliqued pillow case with a bobbin tape lace edging. The applique design is across the top and the sides of the pillow case and is of a large leaf motif alternating with flower appliques. Between the design elements are two rectangular rows of drawnwork. The center top of the pillow case has the Davies crest in applique with accents of satin stitch in the lions and fist area. The lace edging runs all around and is 5 1/4 inches deep. It is made of braid tape bobbin lace with a variety of fillings. There are 6 buttons that run along the opening in the back.
