About this object

A white linen embroidered bed sheet with a deep bobbin tape lace edging. The embroidery which runs across the top and sides is of satin stitch leaves. Below the leaves at the attachment area is a wave like scallop of satin stitch and satin stitch circles evenly spaced across. The lace attached to the edging is of braid tape lace with filling stitches and is 15 inches deep at the corners and 8 inches deep at the top. The lace runs 40 inches on each side of the sheet. At the center top of the sheet is an appliqued Davies crest with accents of satin stitch for the lions and fist. The word INTEGRITAS is embroidered at the bottom of the shield.
