About this object

A white linen bed sheet with appliqued flower baskets containing appliqued tulips. The basket has openwork mesh. There is drawnwork separating each basket and below the basket area is embroidered roses. The roses are embroidered in satin stitch with some of the petals having an openwork mesh. There is a 6 inch deep Point de Paris bobbin lace border that runs across the top and 38 inches on both sides. Above the flower baskets is the embroidered and appliqued Davies crest. The lions and the fist of the crest are embroidered in satin stitch. The wording INTEGRITAS is also in satin stitch.
