About this object

A linen bedding set that consists of a sheet, three pillow cases, and a lace edging from a small pillow. The sheet cuff has a floral applique and the Davies coat of arms in Belgian needle lace inset. The lace edge at the top and sides of the sheet is 7 1/2 inches deep and is very scallopedat the attached edge. The design is in Vieux Flandre bobbin motifs with needle lace ground and fillings. The pillow cases have the same design but the lace is 4 1/4 inches wide and runs all around the cases. A matching lace edging from a small pillow is part of this set and is 2 inches wide. It has been cut from linen.
