A cream colored damask towel edging. The lower edge is of a ladder hemstitch. The major design element is of openwork with a center diamond of circles and tallies. Two half diamonds of the same design is at each end of the towel. In between each half diamond is a strip of alternating circles and squares done in buttonhole stitch.
