A white shaped insertion for lingerie. This is made of silk in a delicate Point de Paris bobbin lace with a design of daisies and scrolled leaves. There is a central peaked area of lace with a design of a garland of daisies. On either side of this are smaller peaks that have a single flower within an irregular cartouche. On each side of these smaller peaks are two more peaks that have a flower with leaves. The fillings throughout the piece are in a Lille bobbin lace and honeycombs. Both ends of the piece are cut.

tag Made in Belgium/P.P.L. 7697/2/oie 260fr/1.370 _/310257 Pinned to the insertions, now removed. The first line was printed in gold. All the rest was handwritten in black ink, except for 260 fr which was written in red ink. tag 2 Pinned to the insertion, now removed. This inscription was on the back of the tag and written in pencil.
