About this object
Three ecru taffeta embroidered window panels. The design is executed in tambour crochet embroidery and is of garlands of flowers tied with a blue ribbon. Surrounding the garland is a two toned blue border in tambour with leaves spaced every 2 inches. 45.502.1 and 45.502.3 are mirror images of each other and have roses as the predominant flowers. 45.502.2 was the center of the window panels and has blue dahlias and red and yellow flowers that are tied in a bow at the bottom. The picture that accompanies this catalogue shows these panels as the center part of a window surround on a bedroom window from the yacht the Sea Cloud (Hussar V).
