About this object
A round linen tablecloth with silk satin stitch embroidery. There is a central ring of highly padded large satin stitch roses in pink and cream, naturalistically shaded. The branches of roses extend out to the border, which has small rings of small roses around the edge. There are large areas of pulled work checkered with star stitches in cream silk. The twelve matching napkins are linen with silk satin stitch embroidery. There is a ring of roses around a pulled work area on the corner of the napkin. There is a later monogram MPD in pink and green.
