About this object

An ecru Duchesse bobbin lace edging with Point de gaze needle lace insets and fillings. The top edge of the piece is the attachment area and the bottom edge is scalloped. There are nine repeats of the pattern with one scoll at each end. The pattern consists of a large flower at the bottom edge next to arc scrolls. The main body has flower sprays. Most of the flower centers are needle perles. Both ends have been cut.
