A wide ecru edging of Brussels appliques of mixed bobbin and needle lace motifs applied to machine net. The design is floral sprays with a needle lace rose in the center in gentle scallops of needle strapwork. The edge is of large needle lace roses and floral groups alternating with bobbin lace leaf sprays. There is extensive needle lace shading throughout. The whole piece is sprinkled with needle perles of silk net ??
