About this object
An white linen handkerchief with a needle lace inset in one corner. Within the inset in one corner is a monogram MHP in needle lace with button holed connections in a grid pattern. The edge of the cloth is in needle lace all around in a fleur-de -lis pattern with a rose at each of the four corners. This perhaps was the wedding handkerchief for Mrs. Post's marriage to E.F. Hutton.
