About this object

This collar is made up from 17th century Venitan style needle lace with raised cordonnet motifs reassembled with bottonholed bars. The large center flower is from different Gros Point de Venise lace. The collar is then edged all around with coarse, scalloped needle lace (identical to that on 45.301.1-2).
