About this object
The felon' is constructed from a cloth decorated with a repeating pattern of medallions centering on alternating oak leaves and Greek crosses. Abstract flowers and blue and rust-colored scrolls reminiscent of ancient Russian architectural ornament decorate the yoke (oplech'e). There is a large Latin cross outlined in red on the center of the yoke. Lined in yellow linen.
