On the sides and bottom is a band in woven gold threads with a rinceau. Within are large leaf and flower forms in gold on a silver ground. In the center is an applied embossed cross with four equal arms and rays in gold and silver. The apron is interlined with stiff rough linen and lined with beige silk. A pink silk satin ribbon at the top for supprting it at the neck.
