About this object
Set of 2. The entire surface is embroidered with a satinstitch, the central medallion and the crosses on the two arms being in white, the rest in red. The central cross is outlined in gold with silver scrolls along each arm and scattered seed pearls. Between each arm is embroidered in gold CBATZ. On each arm a white cross is outlined with a seed pearl at each tip. Above each cross is a crown in silver and gold threads and with seed pearls of the cross at top. Between are vine scrolls embroidered in silver threads with some flowers embroidered in blue and yellow silk and others in semi-precious cabochons-green yellow and red set in silver gilt and each with a circlet of pearls. The fringe is in gold and silver. The back is lined with white silk and has some old inventory numbers.
