This rug is in a tapestry weave of wool and gilt silver threads. The center has a large bouquet of roses in color on a cream colored ground. Next, come scrolls, strapwork, in red, gold, brown etc. The corners have clusters of roses on a gold ground with an elaborate frame. The border is in black and brownish color.
