The musicians are carved in ivory and they stand on barrels carved in wood. The main part of the barrels is in a natural color and the part representing the iron hoops is stained black. They have been carved from several pieces of ivory and pierced together. .2 plays a recorder. He holds the instrument in front of him and blows into it. He wears a flat hat, a long coat, trousers with boots.
