About this object
A round box with a medallion in the center. The medallion shows a figure of a dog in relief under glass, carved in wax. The dog has white and black spots and a plume like tail. It faces to the left and is standing. The medallion has a border of beads as does the outer edge of the lid. The lid lifts off and has a metal band at the two edges.
