About this object
The oval ivory frame is carved with a dragon on either side and with a empty medallion at the top which is intended for a monogram. The dragons are chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom symbolized by the empty medallion. There is a beaded border around the inner edge. There are two small beads at the bottom which serve as feet. Frame contains a color photograph of Heather Robertson, ca. 1968.
