About this object
The round box is mounted in three-color gold bands carved with laurel leaves. In the lid has been added a Russian miniature of ca. 1812. It represents the busts of Marshall Wittgenstein and Prince Kutuzov, both facing to the left. They are dressed in uniforms. Kutuzov wears a miniature of Alexander I set in a diamond frame and the stars of three imperial orders, St. Andrew the First Called, St. George Martyr and another. Wittgenstein wears the badges of three imperial orders on the blue ribbon of St. Andrew as well as the stars of the imperial orders of St. Andrew First Called, St. George Martyr and a third.
