This painted wooden frame contains an unsigned black and white photograph of Adelaide Brevoort Close taken in approximately 1940. In the photograph, Adelaide is wearing a straw hat trimmed with flowers, a white collared blouse with a diamond-shaped jeweled pin at the throat, and a dark jacket or cardigan. Her hair touches her shoulders. The photograph was put into this frame in 1959.
