About this object

The table is a rectangular extension table. Its top is made from patterned burl with a plain edge and a narrow band in darker wood. The corners are rounded. The end panels are hinged to extend upwards. There are two small drawers in front with round metal pulls and keyholes. The end standards are flat with outsplayed legs which end in ormolu paws that rest on casters. The stretcher is placed high and is curved at the ends.
