About this object

The chest is made in the Chippendale style. The pediment is broken in the center with a vertical column in the middle. There are two small drawers at the very top, under which are three graduated drawers in the full width. Below are three more graduated drawers also in the full width. There are fluted pilasters at the corners and a carved meander border on the pediment. The drawers have brass pulls and keyholes.
