About this object
The bookcase is made from striped wood, sometimes called zebra wood. It is made in three sections and rests on four short bulbous feet. There are two open book shelves in the center. They are flanked on each side by a closed, curved cupboard. The sections are separated by four vertical supports decorated with a delicate inlaid vine.
