About this object

The large rectangular table is made in the Chippendale style. It is made from mahogany with a leather top. It has a narrow tooled, vine-scrolled border and three drawers on each side. Surrounding the drawers is a ribbon and rosette carved molding. It rests on four massive acanthus-carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet.
