About this object

The armchair is made in the eighteenth-century Windsor style. It has a rounded back filled with vertical spokes. The spokes are plain except for the central one which is turned. The arms are plain arms and form a horseshoe shape. It has a low saddle seat and sits on turned legs connected by a U-shaped stretcher. The arms are connected to the seat by more spokes, some plain and some turned.
