The rocking chair is rather plain. The back is a solid wood panel that is edged with palmette and leaf scrolls. The side upright supports end in lion heads and acanthus leaves. The arms are plain and slightly curved. The seat is plain with a serpentine front. It has a shaped skirt with palmettes and scrolls. The rockers are plain with flat scrolls in front.
