About this object

Four spiral posts carved in low relief with leaves topped by turned baluster finials. Headboard with two scrolls at ends of top, open at sides with two slats. Turned rial at foot with similar spiral carving. Legs consist of a long square section, with applied brass medallions, on top of a round lower section which tapers to the bun foot.
