About this object
The small oval table is a composite. The top is a framed piece of oval stump needlework. A table frame has been made out of another wood, and attached to the bottom so it could be used as a table. The needlework illustrates a woman standing with a child and dog in a landscape with a tree and house. The legs of the table are tapered with diagonally crossed stretchers. The frame part is removable.
