About this object
These two pieces of tabletop and legs do not go together. Table has four rectangular legs all veneered in wood and also outlined in bronze and with capitals in lacquered bronze. Stretcher between the legs is shaped veneered in two color woods. Circular pieces above the legs is veneered and also has a scroll in lacquered bronze. Pieces missing. Top is of another date. Has ormolu border and top is covered with a mosaic of malachite except for a medallion in center in black marble with flowers in lapis lazuli, jaspers, etc.
