About this object
The table is rectangular and stands in four straight legs. The top is covered in a criss cross pattern with each square area between the bands containing a quatrefoil, parts of which are stained green. The same marquetry covers the three drawers across the front, and the back and two sides. The four corners and the square legs are decorated with small marquetry motifs of three bell flowers each. The top is edged on three sides with a brass railing in openwork. The legs taper down to plain sabots.
