About this object
Ebonized cabinet of eclectic French style. It has narrow side panels set back from the large single door in the center enclosing three shelves inside. In the center of the door is an oval medallion containing a case bronze relief of two putti with a bird in an ornate gilt bronze frame. The cabinet also features applied ormolu petal mouldings and frieze mounts on the side panels and at the bottom .
