About this object
The ground of the salt cellar is white. It is decorated with rococo scrolls in low relief that are outlined with touches of blue and gold. The tall upper section is pierced with dozens of holes and is topped by a bud-like finial touched with gold. On the blubous lower part are clusters and sprays of flowers in natural colors. It rests on a round flat base has scalloped edge in blue and gold.
