About this object

The statuette represents a young girl feeding a lamb. The lamb rests under and is supported by her left arm. There is a tree trunk under the hind legs of the lamb. She holds a rust-colored bowl in her right hand from which the lamb feeds. She leans over the lamb and has her left leg propped up on part of the tree trunk. She wears a bluish gray hat with a wide brim, a white blouse, a lavender bolero, and a white overskirt with purple flowers lined in pale yellow. This is over an under skirt striped in blue with yellow ovals. She is bare footed and standing on an irregular rococo base which is white with gold scrolls.
