About this object
The figurine is part of an allegorical set known as "French four seasons." It represents Summer and is shown as a young girl supporting with her left arm a sheath of wheat with white and blue centered flowers, and holding a small cylindrical flask in her raised right hand. She wears an off-shoulder white dress decorated with scattered gold flowers. She is barefoot and has her hair pulled up in a bun. She stands on a base decorated with clumps of flowers and leaves in relief. The white rococo base has gold-touched scrolls on it.
