About this object

A statuette of a woman in eighteenth century costume with her dog. She wears a small hat with a bird on top. She leans her head to her right and looks down at the hound dog at her feet. Her left hand holds a parasol and her right arms leans against her skirt. Her dress is an 18th century style with a low cut bodice and a large full skirt. The skirt is split in the front and the sleeves have elaborate cuffs.
