About this object

The cup is cylindrical in shape. It has an oval medallion on the front with a view of a house with an avenue of trees leading to it and a man and a woman looking at it. The frame around the scene is repeated on the saucer, and the upper edge of the cup. It is in gold and different colors with roses and a bowknot at the top. The rectangular handle has a decoration in gold of dots and bands.
