These ten "Queen's Beasts" were designed for the Coronation of Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953 by Mr. James Woodford, O.B.E. and were set up at the annex at Westminster Abbey. The White Horse is white and bears the shield of the Royal Arms of the UNited Kingdom used 1714-1800.
