About this object

The vase is wide at the bottom and narrow near the neck which has a wide-spreading lip. In white on blue jasperware are three low reliefs with classical designs. They depict Aurora, two women approaching a sleeping cupid, and a cupid wearing a mask with two women near an altar. Between these is a repeat design of acanthus leaves with a palmette. A garland of oak leaves and acorns is in white around the neck.
