About this object
The dinner service consists of 24 plates, six of each size, and six soup cups and saucers. The two-handled soup cup is footed. The curved sloping sides are ridged. On the interior are three clusters of purple violets and green leaves painted on a white ground. There is gilding on the handles and on the slightly scalloped edge of rim and foot. The exterior is plain white.
