About this object
The cup has a pink band around the center decorated with a bisque relief taken from Pompeian motifs. The rest of the cup is white with gold bands. The handle curves upward above the cup and forms a C shape that does not connect with the top of the cup. The upper rim is wide and gilded. The cup rests on a pedestal foot. The relief shows seated people, a cupid and floral motfs.
