On view in: Marjorie Post's Bedroom Hall
About this object
The statuette shows a young woman standing. She is placing a wreath around the neck of a white sheep which is standing on its hind legs and leaning against her. Its front feet are against her white skirt which has red flowers on it. She wears a hat with a wide red brim, a white blouse with a turquoise bodice and three pink rosettes, and yellow shoes. There is a support behind her in the form of a greenish tree trunk. This has three leafy branches with white flowers that extend from it. All this stands on a white rococo base with scrolls.
