About this object
The statuette shows a young woman playing a mandolin. She wears a fancy headdress with a flowing yellow scarf and is seated on a tree stump. The stump has branches and flowers extending from either side. She wears a white blouse, a light green bodice, a white apron and a dark blue skirt crossed in gold. She holds a brown and yellow mandolin in her hands in front of her. A lamb stands beside her. The tree and ground are green. The base is made in openwork scrolls touched with gold.
