The statuette shows a young man playing the bagpipes. He is seated on a mottled green and brown tree stump with a white dog with reddish spots seated at the right. He is wearing a black beret hat with a plume, a pink short-sleeved coat over a white jacket with red and gold flower sprays, pale yellow pants, and black shoes. There are two green leafy branches with white trumpet flowers extending to either side of him. He sits on a white base with four scroll feet and touched with gold and some openwork.
