The statuette represents a shepherd. He is a young man who is standing and holds a beige barrel in the crook of his right hand and arm. He is wearing a black hat with a white feather, a mauve pink sleeveless coat, a white shirt, a pale green vest with gold scales, pants decorated with green and gold flowers and leaves, white stockings, and black shoes. At his back is a white stump with two green leafy branches that extend to either side of hi, They have trumpet multicolored flowers in high relief. At his feet is a white dog with tan splotches seated at the left. The rococo scrolled base is touched with pink and gold.
