About this object
The statuette shows Mars as a candle holder. He stands, facing forward and is holding in his left hand the end of his white cape. He wears a white helmet, a gold scaled cuirass, a short green skirt with narrow red panels and sandals. Lying at his feet are a shield, a rooster and a yellow banner. At the right is a white candle holder edged in red sitting on a platform. Behind Mars is a large flat floral back which frames the figure.
