About this object
A porcelain urn commemorating the 50th Anniversary of victory at World War II. The body with scrolling foliate handles and supported upon square leafy base. One side is enriched with a transfer print of a sailing ship reminiscent of the period of Peter the Great, the other side printed with a shield mounted upon military trophies and enscribed with an inscription.
