About this object
Tea service composed of teapot, two food bowls, two cups without handles, one teacup and saucer. All vessels are decorated with a bright blue ground. On both sides, large white (unpainted) ovals are decorated with red and purple flowers and green leaves. Flowers are painted in a loose, shaky fashion. Oval reserve is rimmed with a gold band. Export porcelain for Eastern market.
