About this object
The bottom of the plate has two bands in green and black outlined in gold. The rim has a black background on which there are a series of six oblong cartouches in green, alternating with six medallions in blue. The medallions have two rope borders in gold. Four of them have an anchor and chain in the center, one has the Imperial orb and one the crowned cipher of Alexander II in gold. The six green cartouches are decorated with the Imperial double-headed eagle.
