About this object

General color scheme is turquoise with considerable gold. Base is tripod-shaped with griffons at the angles and three women dressed in various colors, one on each side of the triangular base between two griffons. On each side of the vase is a rectangle with a landscape, each with water in the foreground and buildings in the background. They feature the palace of Pavlovsk on one side and the "domik petra" in St. Petersburg, the little house built by Peter the Great along the Neva river in 1703.
